Wellbeing consists of many elements important for you to feel good and function effectively. Positive psychology wellbeing focuses on how to live optimally and flourish. I have pulled on a number of wellbeing practices to create my Opt 2 Be Happy workshops which include scientifically backed tools and practices that participants can easily learn and apply at home or in the office. It is my aim to help others learn how to live happier, fulfilling and positive lives and to create workshops that are fun, interactive and enhance social connections.
My workshops are suited to smaller groups and in particular are ideal for Executive/Personal Assistants and Administration/support services teams. These teams often work under a lot of pressure organising, managing and creatively assisting company Executives and are therefore at the heart of an organisations functioning. The effects of happier, mindful and positive teams will have a ripple effect on their colleagues and the Executives they support to create a flourishing work environment.

OPT 2 BE - HAPPY
This workshop introduces participants to The Science of Happiness to create a fun, interactive half day or full day of training. The participants will learn scientifically grounded practices to enhance wellbeing and resilience which they will start to practice during the workshops.
OPT 2 BE - RESILIENT
There are many words associated with resilience such as bouncing back, bouncing forward, bending and adapting well. Psychological resilience is defined as an individual's ability to successfully cope with adversity and stress. My half day workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for building resilience.
OPT 2 BE - MINDFUL AND HAPPY
Mindfulness is a state of being and means moment to moment awareness of your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and environment with acceptance and non-judgement. My one day interactive workshop combine the foundational practices of mindfulness with various positive psychology interventions to help participants learn how to be more mindful and happier in their daily lives.
OPT 2 BE - SELF-COMPASSIONATE AND HAPPY
Self-compassion is the ability to treat yourself with love, kindness and compassion during stressful and difficult periods in your life. It also motivates you to achieve your goals and move through difficulties from a place of kindness rather than a place of harsh judgement which can create fear. My one day workshop combines self-compassion practices with several positive psychology interventions designed to help participants learn how to become self-compassionate and happier in their daily lives.
OPT 2 BE - ENGAGED WITH YOUR STRENGTHS
Awareness and appreciation of strengths in ourselves and others is important for developing awareness of what is good in each other. When we are aware of each others strengths it can improve relationships, engagement, enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding. Leveraging our strengths can also help us to achieve goals. My half day workshop will help participants to identify their strengths and those of their team members through fun, interactive learning.
